Never Be Silent
“I have posted watchmen on
your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord give yourselves no
rest.” Isa. 62:6
Something happens when we pray like these watchmen on the
walls who give themselves no rest. There
is a movement of prayer rooted firmly in Scripture. We praise Him with the word. It is the call of His people to take their
place along the wall as the watchers.
All around the globe there are groups of committed people who are
watching and praying, watching and praying.
God responds to our prayers.
Stand in the palisades, stand strong in the
ramparts. Guard your posts. Watch and wait and see and hear what the
Lord’s plans and strategies are, so that you can pray into them. Pray against spiritual wickedness, much like
the watchmen were always on the alert for any enemy attack. Let us voice our prayers and not be silent.
