Conformed to His Glorious Body
“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait
for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that
it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which he
is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” Phil. 3:20-21
Jesus will transform our current lowly
body so that it will be conformed to His glorious body! Beloved, that is a truth to hold onto. 1 John 3:1-3 expresses it this way: “Behold
what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called
children of God! Therefore the world
does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed
what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed we shall be like Him,
for we shall see Him as He is. And
everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” 1 Cor. 15:48 and 49 confirm this truth, “As
was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the
heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of
dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.” Amen!
According to Eph. 2:6, God has “raised
us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ
Jesus,” and as Eph. 2:19 states, “Now therefore, you are no longer
strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of
the household of God.”

our citizenship is in heaven!
